Our Children's Story, not for profit, was created for Anthony Jr and Lyric.
Before we had a name, our Children's Story, Inc. was a small support group that met once per month on Sunday in a Library in Dekalb County, Georgia. After hosting these meetups for a while, I began researching what it would take to start a business helping the community I joined in 2005.
After researching, I decided that a 501 (c) (3) would be the best option to execute my mission to serve my son, peers, and the families that care for them. In 2016 I was granted the nonprofit status for Our Children's Story, Inc., in honor of my oldest son Anthony David Hicks Jr. "Moo."
Our Children's Story, Inc., raises awareness of Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy, the two primary diagnoses of my son, Anthony Jr. Throughout this journey of building an entity that honors such a beautiful little boy, we've served over 3,500 families through our programs and services.
Our Children's Story, Inc. is a nonprofit status organization created in honor of Anthony Jr and Lyric. Our Children's Story supports families in the disability community. We are a philanthropic organization that strives to educate, inspire, and assist parents caring for loved ones with disabilities. We are always looking for monetary donation.
