Follow Coach Libra’s Journey

My 1st time meeting this divine spirit, face to face, I asked, "can I just go where ever you go." 😀 This within itself says alot about her, because I'm a total introvert, who would dare not tether myself with anyone...But Libra....!!!!

Libra is an all around powerhouse- with her family and businesses, but still remembers to balance her needs as a woman. I've learned alot about strength, just by having witnessed her walk.

Though I couldn't begin to know some of her personal cries that she shares only with God, but I can imagine with the obstacles she is met with, the journey isnt easy. Yet, she remains determined and charged!

Simply put, Libra's tenacity is Unmatched! 

I Love that she is passionate and intentional about her purpose. She unapologetically understands that she 

may not be for everyone-but still with that in mind; Libra genuinely wants to see everyone that she encounters-win! 

Libra's daily mantra is to spread love and light, and that- she does effortlessly! 

 Let your light shine so brightly that others can see their way out of the dark.”~Katrina Mayer. This quote embodies who Libra Hicks is in my opinion. She is a remarkable individual whose positivity and perseverance lights up every room she enters. Her uplifting spirit and determination to overcome challenges are truly inspiring. 

You ever met someone who can do anything they put their mind to while empowering you to do the same? That is Libra in a nutshell. Libra’s ability to stay optimistic and motivate others even in the toughest of times makes her a true asset to any community. 

Her unwavering commitment to spreading positivity is a testament to her remarkable character and serves as a source of encouragement for everyone fortunate enough to know her. 

 I've known Libra for a little over 2 years now and one thing that has always been consistent is her great ENERGY. She is all about uplifting people and building confidence by finding the positive outlook on life regardless of the situation. Libra is a motivator who pushes not only herself to be the best but the people she cares about as well.

She does this through various ways of coaching whether it's through fitness, transparent conversations or her novel. Libra is truly a gem, someone who is trustworthy and if I could sum her up in one word I would say Authentic day in and day out.  

 I started my fitness journey over a year ago. I have always gone up and down in weight with no real progress. I had resigned myself to simply having two sets of clothes, one set for “fluffy times” and a set for “leaner times”. Working with Coach Libra has made me finally get rid of my “fluffy time” clothes. I have lost almost 30lbs and gained stamina, confidence, and renewed sense of pride in how this body looks naked! There’s switch in my walk that I thought I had lost forever! Thank you Libra, for helping me find that sexy girl swag again!!  

 I’m so honored to be apart of Our Children story. The foundation love and support is what I needed in my life the most. With this beautiful community I’m able to feel safe and protected with my emotions. Mrs Libra gives us a voice and a ear to be heard. She helps us to recognize and understand  the challenges that we face. She helps us to speak on day to day task and concerns. One of my favorite things about the group is the constant respect and knowledge that she teaches us so that we can be the best advocate for our child.
